Stefan Kipf, Professor of Didactics of Ancient Languages at Humboldt University in Berlin, has provided us with the written version of the lecture he gave on 19 September 2025 at Humboldt University to mark the centenary of the German Classical Philologists' Association (DAV).
In it, S. Kipf presents the history of the Association of Classical Philologists and takes a critical look at the current situation of the German Association of Classical Philologists as a federal association.
