The profile work of a 10th grade student from 2025 deals with a statue of Emperor Antoninus Pius in the Dresden State Art Collections – Sculpture Collection. The analysis of the statue is contrasted with the analysis of contemporary sources from that time and shows the different statements that history and propaganda can make. Despite being shortened for publication, the paper is an example of independent research projects carried out by students at a secondary school with a generalist characteristic.
