The textbook *Contactus* was born out of a desire on the part of two Latin teachers from Graz – who have taught their subject with great enthusiasm in schools and universities for decades and continue to do so – to pass on tried-and-tested teaching methods, to replace grammar drills with playful, inquiry-based approaches, and to give young people an authentic introduction to ancient culture.
