A few weeks ago, a new volume in the series “Paradeigmata” (56, ed. Rombach, Freiburg/Berlin 2019, edited by Matteo Taufer) came out. Published in the volume are the papers presented at an international conference “Mountains in Antiquity”, which took place from 2-4 May 2019 in Trento, at the suggestion of the local delegation of the Italian Association for Classical Culture in synergy with the Heidelberger Akademie der Wissenschaften and together with the Trentino Mountaineers' Society.
