Emanuele Lelli (Liceo Tasso and Sapienza University in Rome) has been studying Hellenistic poetry and scientific and technical texts from antiquity for decades, with a particular focus on parömiography and popular culture in antiquity. At the ADA conference in Bolzano in March 2025, he captivated the audience with his research on anthropology in southern Italy and how this could lead to new and clearer interpretations of certain passages in ancient texts.
