In early March 2026, we were deeply saddened to learn of the sudden death of our deputy editor-in-chief, Matthias Korn.
In recent years, Matthias Korn had been a valued companion and an irreplaceable colleague for Ars docendi. With his expertise and immense dedication, he contributed to the production of numerous issues of the journal. Jörg Freydank has written his own obituary, containing many references, some of which may be little known.
