July 2021, an almost impossible challenge: organising a conference in a classroom on teaching Latin and Greek. Until the last minute before the event, the organisers in Graz were on tenterhooks, but then the conference was able to go ahead and those who attended were enthusiastic. Speakers from Thuringia, Saxony, Göttingen, South Tyrol and many Austrian speakers discussed the current situation and developments in high schools and examined university work, but also school work: a very important conference because of its unique concept, but also because it finally allowed us to discuss issues that are very important to us directly.
