Ancient music and emotions - this was the name of a trilingual project (German - Italian - Latin) at the ‘Walther von der Vogelweide’ classical grammar school. Pupils and teachers from the regional focus on music were directly involved in this project together with pupils and teachers from the classical grammar school. How was antiquity received in music? This was the original question that Dir. Martina Adami, at the suggestion of the CLE (Centrum Latinitatis Europae), under whose patronage the project took place, asked pupils and teachers. The results are fascinating because they go far beyond traditional ideas of reception.
